Gulfport Sportsplex

The Gulfport Sportsplex is a 250 acre recreational park located near Interstate-10 within the city limits of Gulfport. The construction of the Gulfport Sportsplex is a multi-phase project designed by the Gulfport Department of Leisure Services. This project stemmed from a departmental master plan conducted in 1995 in which citizens of Gulfport along with committee members called for a multi-purpose recreational complex that could provide a wide array of recreational opportunities and activities as well as generate revenue and cater to the tourism market of many sports activities. Construction began in 1995.

The Gulfport Sportsplex is a 250 acres complex with nine-terraced ball fields with hybrid sand-based turf, crimson stone infields, scoring towers, four international sized soccer fields and a control center with concessions, restrooms, pavilions, etc.
